| Day 01: Arrival in Hanoi (-/-D)
Up on arrival in Hanoi, we will be greeted and transferred to hotel. Free at our leisure in the rest of the day. In the evening we will meet our guide again and we will go to the fine restaurant in town for our welcome dinner. Overnight in HanoiDay 02: Hanoi City tour (B/-/-)
Our tour today starts after breakfast at the hotel, the destination will be Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum with Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, outside Ho Chi Minh Museum; the Temple of Literature. In the afternoon you will visit Vietnam National museum of Ethnology, the best museum in Hanoi, then we move to the Dong Xuan Market the biggest market in Hanoi. We have one hour cyclo tour around the Old Quarter and stop at Thang Long Theater for Water Puppet show. Overnight in HanoiDay 03: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
An 3-hour drive will takes you to Halong
Bay, one of the World Heritage site of
Vietnam.
Transfer to Halong junk and enjoy Vietnamese lunch on board while cruising Halong Bay.
At 3 pm we will visit Sung Sot Cave or Amazing Cave then we stop at Titop
Beach, the best beach in Halong Bay.
You have two options here, one you can swim and relax on the Beach or you can
climb up to the top of Titop
Island for spectacular
view. Anchor at quiet and calm area called Bachaidao in the evening, fresh
seafood dinner will be served then overnight on board in Halong Bay.
Day 04: Halong Bay – Cat Ba Island by traveling boat (B/L/-)
At 6.30 am it depend on your choice you will
have Tai Chi class on the Sundeck or morning swim then enjoy breakfast and
visit the Luon cave by rowing sampan. Afterward, we move to another boat to Cat
Ba Island. On the way we will have chance to explore Lan Ha Bay with beautiful
islands and floating village. Arrival in Cat Ba at around 12:00, there will be
awaiting vehicle transfer us to hotel. Check in hotel and relax at the nice beach of Cat Co. Overnight on Catba island Day 05: Cat Ba – Hanoi (B/-/-)
The first visit for today will be the Cat Ba
National Park, next is the old Military
Hospital cave that was
used by the North Vietnamese Army during the American war, then we have short
track for about to hours to the top of Cat Ba National Park Mountain. Return to Cat Ba Island center before
boarding the Greenline Hydrofoil to the
city of Hai Phong, the third largest city in Vietnam. After
one hour on board, a short city tour in Hai Phong is waiting for you with the Opera House and flower markett, then go
straight back to Hanoi.
Overnight in Hanoi Day 06: Hanoi - Hue (B/-/-)
Free day at leisure until at 19:00, we transfer to Hanoi Railway station for overnight train to Hue, the formal Imperial City of Vietnam. Our family will stay at a private cabin (4 soft sleeper bed cabin with air conditioner). Overnight on train. Day 07: Hue City Tour (B/-/-)
Our local guide will welcome us at Hue Railway Station. Transfer to hotel then you will have early check in and relax. After lunch we take a Dragon boat along Perfume River to visit the famous Thien Mu Pagoda (Heaven Lady Pagoda) and one of the royal Tomb which dedicated to the Nguyen Dynasty' Emperor ( King Tu Duc' Tomb) and back to city in the late afternoon.Day 8: Hue - Hoi An ( B/-/-)
This morning we will have a tour around this fabulous city. We start at the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City then we move to the Royal Fine art museum for amazing imperial collection we transfer to Hoi An, along the way though we will first stop at Lang Co beach, for coffee and refreshments, then onto the Hai Van pass, stopping at the top to take in the stunning views north over Lang Co beach and south over Danang city. Arriving in Hoi An we check into our hotel before spending the rest of the afternoon for exploring and shopping. Overnight in Hoian.Day 09: Hoi An (B/-/-)
Hoi An is a charming, small town which can be easily explored on foot. Between the 17th and 19th centuries the town was a thriving international trading port with a large Chinese and Japanese population. We start at Japanese covered bridge then Chinese Assembly Hall and one of traditional house in Hoian. In the afternoon, You will visit My Son, the Cham People' sanctuary site from 4th century to 13 century and It has been recognized by UNESCO as the world heritage since 1999. Here, in a secluded valley, the Cham built over 70 impressive Hindu-style temples then you will go back to Hoian center for shopping. Overnight in Hoian.Day 10: Hoi An - Hochiminh City(B/-/-)
In the morning you will be free for picking up your clothes tailored previously. In this afternoon we transfer to Danang city for a short domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon). Up on arrival in Saigon we transfer to hotel. Relaxing in the rest of the day. Overnight in Hochiminh City Day 11: Hochiminh City Tour (B/L/-)
Today visit the biggest city in Vietnam with the Reunification Palace, the War Remnant Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post office and Ben Thanh market. In the afternoon, we leave Saigon for the Cu Chi tunnels, known as the "Iron Triangle" or "Iron Land". On the way there we will drive through pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies. A short introductory video will show how the tunnel were constructed before your exploration of the maze of tunnels. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters. Back to hotel at around 18:00.Day 12: Hochiminh City – Mekong Delta (B/L/D)
Today visit one of the floating market in the Mekong River Delta, Cai Be market. Here we will board our private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals to Vinh Long. We will stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of 'Elephant ear fish', before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. Towards the end of the day we arrive at the home of a local family whose house is built on stilts over the water. These people will be our hosts for this evening and will tell us more about life in the Delta. Overnight at local house in Mekong Delta. Day 13: Mekong Delta – Hochiminh City (B/L/-)
Rising early to the sounds of the Delta coming to life for another day, we have breakfast before boarding our riverboat once more for a cruise to Vinh Long town, stopping along the way to visit some local cottage industries. Following this we will rendezvous with our vehicle for the drive to the town of My Tho, where we will visit the Dong Tam snake farm and the Vinh Trang pagoda, before our return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Hochiminh CityDay 14: Hochiminh City (B/-/-)
We are free day at leisure. Overnight in HochiminhDay 15: Departure (B/-/-) We are free at our leisure for our final day in Ho Chi Minh before the departure flight to home.Notes: This tour is priced from 981 USD per person for group of two travellers.
